The Story

Brandy Peacock, future LAc

Evergreen Phoenix Medicine

Picture
My journey to Chinese Medicine began when I was pregnant with my daughter in Phoenix, Arizona.  I was in terrible pain and my doctor said it would pass and to just give it time.  I didn't understand that answer so I immediately saw a naturopathic doctor. She spent 2 hours talking with me and asking questions and gave me my first acupuncture treatment.  I felt instant relief and after a few treatments, my nausea was gone and I was able to get through my day and walk through my door at home.  I knew that was what I wanted to do.

After crossing paths with a childhood friend and her sister who was in school for Chinese Medicine, a light bulb turned on and I realized that Chinese Medicine was the path I wanted to take and thus began my journey. After a few moves, many research filled and sleepless nights, I found myself ever drawn to Portland, Oregon and more specifically, Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM).  I will be graduating in the fall of 2015 and will then be opening Evergreen Phoenix Medicine here in Portland, OR as well as continuing on into the doctoral program at OCOM.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you along your journey to optimal health!

Warmly,
Brandy
